Selling used outdoor equipment at Ecotrek Outfitters can be a great way to earn some extra cash while also helping others find affordable gear for their adventures. Here are five helpful tips to ensure a successful selling experience: 1) Thoroughly inspect and clean the equipment: Before listing any item for sale, inspect it thoroughly to identify any defects or damage. Be honest about the item's condition in your product description. Clean the equipment to make it presentable and ready for immediate use. Giving back

Last year, I had the opportunity to travel with my family to Guatemala for three days of sportfishing in the “Sailfish Capitol of the World,” and it truly lived up to its billing. For three days we experienced double-digit sailfish hook-ups on sailfish and dorado, fighting fish until our arms were beyond sore. In my case, I grew out of my gear every year. Sometimes after being worn or used just a few times. Once people move on from their used gear, it ends up in a closet or on a shelf in the garage. But there are lots of people who can still benefit from that used, high-quality gear that’s sitting in storage in the homes of people who enjoy the outdoors as much as I do.      As I’ve traveled and spent time outdoors, I’ve realized that I’m fortunate to be able to be a part of nature and it’s made me want to give back. I’ve seen plastic in the ocean and gear
